Qian

An expert in precision manufacturing technologies (precision & zero-defect subtractive machining processes, production quality control/assurance, digitalized manufacturing etc.) and a senior research manager with the Manufacturing Processes and System (MaPS) division at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of KU Leuven. He is also managing the university core lab M&A (Manufacturing and Automation, ~55 co-workers) at the Flemish Strategic Research Center for Manufacturing – Flanders MAKE. He has demonstrated his leadership and inter-person communication skills through the success in developing and managing various national and international projects (turnover ~5M EURO/year), most of which with industrial collaborations. He is also devoted to building up a harmonious innovation eco-system by giving lectures/workshops on effectively working in multi-cultural environment.
