Huidige functieomschrijving

Dries is nu onderzoeker bij CenSE en werkt voornamelijk rond duurzame bedrijfsvoering en socio-economische duurzaamheid.

Ervaring

Dries Couckuyt behaalde een doctoraat in de Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit Gent. Hij heeft verschillende publicaties over het onderwerp Green business process management. Terwijl bedrijfsprocessen doorgaans geëvalueerd worden op basis van kosten, kwaliteit, tijd en flexibiliteit, was de uitdaging van zijn doctoraat om ecologische duurzaamheid te integreren als performantiedimensie.
Na zijn doctoraat trok Dries naar Waseda University in Tokio om een jaar lang onderzoek te doen naar het duurzaamheidsbeleid van Japanse gemeenten.
