Alternatieve, duurzame eiwit en vet (olie) bronnen -zoals insecten- kunnen bijdragen aan een oplossing voor de toenemende vraag van de groeiende wereldbevolking. De voedingswaarde van insectenvlees is vergelijkbaar met die van gewoon vlees en zijn vet en olie is vergelijkbaar met die van andere plantaardige olie. Ik onderzoek mogelijkheden van insecten ingrediënten in levensmiddelen en de consumenten acceptatie naar deze nieuwe producten.
